Christianity is not religion, and it can't be traced to the civilized human history, which means the narrative I read in the following, is 100% false:  The traditional basis of the Christian faith as they call it; is that in Jesus Christ, is God himself--in the person of his eternal son--became man, lived and taught on earth, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, all for the salvation of mankind.Today more than 1.2 billion people are professedly Christian and are associated, however loosly, with a Christian denomination. The belief that forgivness of sins and eternal life are found only in Christ remains at the heart of the Christian alliance. 2,000 years ago, when Jesus was proclaimed by his disciples after his death as the awaited Messiah,or Delieverer, of his people. This claim, and repudiation of the need to accept Jewish Law completely to gain salvation, let to the final breach between Christians and Jews (explain what group is Jew v. the group is Christian).  Althrough rooted in the Old Testament, Christianity developed in the Greco-Roman world, which largly determined its thought and culture.    ( If you're wise logic speaks loudly saying the Romans are professional invading criminals who craft narrative to call their evil travesty divine ordinance  of a spirit-God).  But  in Lisbon, Portugal  in April, 1506 the real white Christians massacred 2,000 newly converted Black Jews in three days, for not revering the epiphany image of Jesus in St. Dominic's Jesus Chapel  to be accepted as miracle.
