Ms. Davis said, my thoughts are also turned to those who have suffered and lost the most, who bare "year after year" others being "thankful" for what they received as a result of that lost. I speak of The Native American Indian. To know and understand what was stolen, taken, and the promises and treaties which were broken, that has left them devastated, ignored and "cut off" from land rightfully theirs, yet on the land and at the present "fighting to protect the water” and “fighting to protect their sacred grounds” should cause "loss of appetite" concerning a meal which herald the beginnings of their demise. These are none of our concerns; the concerns are for turkey moist and juicy. We have our family to be thankful for, and our health and jobs and shelter. At least, those are the claims.
