Is the world of Islam operating under monotheistic Allah religion of peace

[Pp 188 & 94,  Natural Geography world history ]    Islam declaration of itself states that it is a simple faith, but I have spoken to one member of Islamic faith who said it is not a religion, and that cause me to think why do they pray at all if it's not a religion. Can such ignorance exist by a serious adherent, well there has to be a reason why, though Islam stresses the need to obey the will of Allah. That means practicing acts of worship known as the five pillars of Islam. But Islam also said it's more than a monotheistic religion, it is also a political entity as well, and there is need for submission to more Allah, but to his political operation of military for him a his followers. Islam made it clear that Christianity, Judaism and Islam are exclusive monotheistic. And that the faithful followers of the law are guaranteed a place in an eternal paradise. Behind the soft tone of Islam there is invasion, massacre and conquest...now tell me do you followers of the monotheism understand the meaning of the mono-God and what Islam is really about, the violent decree in world history to wield terror, on world society, in the name of Allah, like in manner Christianity does conquest by the Crusades and Inquisition, and the terrible evil of Judaism by God of the Jews.
