The Vatican invaded Israel in 63 BC at the time nothing was known of Christianity. Paganism and polytheism are names attributed to Goddesses and Gods, from time immemorial. Many shrines and Temples are still extant holding humans worship for the Goddesses and Gods within the entire human habitat on earth. No bibles prophesied the word God, Jesus Christ and a talking Serpent. It was only one notion of religion so how Christianity came about with a spirit God and a falling people? Christianity was invented without precedence, from the Romans conquest of the Mediterranean, that brought drastic change in the use of slaves. Large numbers  of foreign peoples who had been captured in different wars were brought back to Italy as slaves. By A.D. 6, it was clear a division existed Rome was 100% Pagan while Israelis belived in One God. Rome allowed Jews freedom to worship their God, so long they obey Rome's rules. In fact, Jews called for revolt to overthrow Roman rule in A.D. 66, only to be crushed by Rome four years later. The Jewish temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. From here you can figure out how Christianity, God and Jesus Christ originates.
