Hello Church of His Glory Family and Friends! What an amazing day this is today. God has set up a divine appointment with us today. We are in remembrance today of Yom Kippur or what is known to most as the Day of Atonement. Yom Kippur is the holiest DAY of the Jewish year. It's the DAY OF ATONEMENT after the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah. On this day, Jews ask God for forgiveness for their sins to secure thier fate. It's also known as the Sabbath of Sabbaths. It marks the culmination of the 10 Days of Awe, a period of introspection and repentance that follows Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Many Christians observe this holy day with a 24-hour fast. For the Jews, it is a 25-hour fast. This is actually a Day in the history of the New Testament that Jesus, also celebrated as well as Passover, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) which we will enter into on October 4th. If you are willing to go the extra mile, to observe follow through with these amazing Feasts, God will honor you. He has always honored me. Holy Spirit will help you if you ask and give you understanding.
