Last week I began a teaching on Proverbs 27:17 that says, "Iron sharpeneth iron: so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."  So, what exactly does that mean? How does it relate to those in my life today considered as friends? Are they true friends? Do they tell me the truth always or just what I want to hear? Are they walking in the love of God with pure motives and a genuine care for me? Do they have my best interest at heart? I will address these questions through the teaching of true relationships. We all need a true friend in our life that will rub off the hard edges, as they say. We need friends that really want to see us grow and improve! Those are friends that really care. Friends who don't want to see us fall, but wants to see us moving forward and thriving. Sometimes, true friends will wound us. What?? The Bible tells us in Proverbs as well, same chapter (27) inverse 6 that, "Faithful is the wound of a friend." Wow, what does that mean? Join me and learn what that means and how it applies to us today. Holy Spirit will help you if you are stuck in a wrong relationship to get out of it. And also, if you're in a right relationship that you need to expose truth.
