Today ends the Rosh Hashanah Holiday and begins Yom Kippur which is the days of Atonement. What an amazing time we live in and are so honored to be alive! I'm sure many of you have had an incredible time of reflecting on your life and laying down weights that have been weighting you down in your journey. It's always so good to recalibrate and to begin walking with a new perspective of life. Yom Kippur is a day committed to fasting and praying. Even in this present-day, Jews still observe this day. The day of atonement is about the reconcilation of God and humankind through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. What we are doing during this time is taking the action of making amends for a wrong. We are sacrificing ourselves to God. We daily should present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice, being made holy and acceptable unto Him.
