Amy Beth chats with historian Victoria Phillips, author of Martha Graham's Cold War: The Dance of American Diplomacy. We discuss the power of modern dance as a propaganda tool to promote American democracy in the Cold War era. Representing every president from Eisenhower through Reagan, Graham performed politics on the global stage for over thirty years. Ms. Phillips, who studied with Graham as a young dancer, explores Graham's unique role in shaping artistic diplomacy.

And our usual hoopla: Music and musings for our ‘new surreal normal, Inspiration to Action shout-outs, humor & more!
