My Mission

Being a parent, on the front line of education (the classroom) for twenty years, serving as a leader in both teachers and extra-curricular teams … these opportunities have given me the perspective and experience that no other candidate in this race has.

I hope to bring that perspective as we establish policies and changes to help regain what should be the focus of education, our students. We need school board members who are passionate about the student but also the teachers and communities they serve, members who are not using these positions as a stepping-stone in the political process but who are professional educators. I will stay up to date with educational trends while always remembering the successes of educational past. I will use my passion to do what is best for students, teachers and our communities. I will bring back the Heart of Education!
